Is Reviralis a Premium Botanical Formula? Plants, Lab Nutrients and Unknowns
A premium botanical formula is a phrase, not a defined type of product. On Reviralis Complete, 8 of the 18 blend names are plant extracts or powders by name. The 22 vitamin and mineral lines do not say whether each one is plant-derived or made in a lab, and the word premium is not measured on the label.

The phrase01
What does premium botanical formula mean?
It means the maker wants the capsule to read as plant-based and high grade. The label does not define either word.
"Botanical" points to plants. "Premium" is a grade with no scale printed beside it. Neither word is an amount, and neither is a claim about a result.
So the useful question is narrower: which of the 40 printed names are plants, and what does the label say about where the rest come from?
Counting plants02
Which Reviralis names are plants?
Eight blend names are plant extracts or powders by their own wording. Another, phosphatidylserine, is marked as from sunflower seed.
| Group | Names |
|---|---|
| Plant extract or powder (8) | Green tea leaf, Bacopa monnieri, bilberry fruit, grape seed, grapefruit seed, olive leaf, cinnamon bark, licorice root |
| Plant source stated (1) | Phosphatidylserine (sunflower seed) |
| Amino acids and related (6) | DMAE bitartrate, L-glutamine, glutamic acid, N-acetyl L-tyrosine, GABA, inositol |
| Minerals and a fatty acid (3) | Boron (citrate), vanadyl sulfate, DHA |
The source of the amino acids and DHA is not printed. A name can be made by fermentation, by a lab, or from a plant or animal, and the label does not say.
The 22 lines03
Are the vitamins in a botanical formula plant-derived?
The label does not say. A vitamin line can come from a food or be made in a lab, and the panel only prints the form for a few.
Vitamin A is printed "as beta carotene" at 720 mcg RAE, and folate shows its folic acid equivalent. Those are forms, not sources. The other lines carry no source at all, so "botanical" cannot be read across the whole panel.
Tap any ring to see how the 22 amounts compare with the Daily Value.
Per serving (2 capsules). The Daily Value is the label reference amount; the upper limit is the most NIH says is safe for nearly all healthy adults from supplements (NIH ODS, Zinc) (NIH ODS, Vitamin C) (NASEM 2019, DRI Tolerable Upper Intake Levels for Elements) (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6) (NIH ODS, Folate) (NIH ODS, Vitamin E) (NIH ODS, Niacin) (NIH ODS, Magnesium). A vitamin line above 100% of the Daily Value is not a warning by itself; the upper limit is the line to watch. Rings are drawn from the label, not from a lab test.

Does plant-derived mean safer or stronger?
No. Origin does not set safety or strength. A plant extract can carry real cautions, and a lab-made vitamin can be well studied.
Licorice root can raise blood pressure and lower potassium in some people (NCCIH, Licorice Root), and green tea extract in capsules has been tied to uncommon liver injury (NCCIH, Green Tea). Both are on this label. On a label, botanical is a reason to read cautions, not a reason to relax.
Check the cautions printed on the bottle and talk to a pharmacist or clinician if you take prescribed medicine, including any antiviral.
The ingredient side of this is covered on the ingredients page, and the quantities are limited by the hidden blend amounts discussed in another guide.
FAQ05
Reviralis questions people ask
Is Reviralis all natural?
No source we use lets us say that. Some blend names are plant extracts, and others are amino acids, minerals or a fatty acid whose source is not printed. The label does not use the word natural, and we do not either.
What is the difference between botanical and synthetic?
Botanical means taken from a plant. Synthetic means made by a lab process. A nutrient can be chemically identical either way. The label prints the form for some lines but not the source for most.
Does premium mean third-party tested?
No. Premium is not a testing term. The lot and certificate references on this site are seller references, not lab proof, and the label itself prints no testing seal.
How many plant names does Reviralis list?
Eight blend names are plant extracts or powders by name, and phosphatidylserine is marked as sunflower seed. Together that is nine of 40 printed names. The 22 vitamin and mineral lines do not state a source.
