Frequently asked questions
Reviralis FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions About the Capsules
The Reviralis FAQ answers the questions buyers ask most about Reviralis Complete capsules, in seven groups: the product, the label, the blend, herpes, safety, buying and this website. The label sets two capsules a day, 60 capsules a bottle. It prints 40 names, and no source shows it affects outbreaks.

What should you know about the capsules first?
No question matches. Try another word.
Reviralis Complete is a dietary supplement in capsules, sold in 60-capsule bottles. The label sets two capsules as one serving, so a bottle lasts 30 days.
Start with these basics, then open the group that matches your question.
What form does Reviralis come in?
Reviralis Complete is a capsule, a vegetable-cellulose shell, packed 60 to a white bottle with a teal label. The label calls it a dietary supplement and a Premium Botanical Formula. It is not a powder, gummy, liquid or tablet.
How long does one bottle last?
One bottle lasts 30 days at the label's two capsules a day. The 60 capsules make 30 servings. A 3-bottle pack lasts 90 days and a 6-bottle pack lasts 180 days at that rate.
When should you take the capsules?
The label says to take two capsules with an 8 oz glass of water, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal, or as your healthcare professional directs. Pick one time you can repeat each day.
What if the pack says one capsule a day?
Follow the bottle label, which says two. The pack and the sales page say one capsule, but the Supplement Facts panel sets the serving at two capsules and 30 servings. If your bottle differs, follow your bottle.
Can you open the capsule or take it with food?
The label gives no instruction on opening capsules, so we cannot advise it. Green tea extract is usually taken with food, per Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK About Herbs, Green Tea). Ask a pharmacist how to fit the label's before-meal direction to your routine.
Is Reviralis made in the USA?
The label says Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. It names Phyto Thrive Labs of Largo, Florida, as distributor and does not name a manufacturer or a factory. We cannot say more than the label does.
Group 202
What does the Reviralis label say?
The label prints 22 vitamin and mineral lines with amounts and one 661 mg blend of 18 names. It never mentions herpes, outbreaks or flare-ups.
Where the pack or sales page differs, the bottle wins.

How many names are on the Reviralis label?
The label prints 40 names: 22 vitamin and mineral lines with amounts and 18 blend names without. Add the folate line's folic acid a second time and you reach the sales page's 41. We count 40.
Which vitamins and minerals does Reviralis list?
The 22 lines are vitamins A, C, D, E, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, B6, folate, biotin and pantothenic acid, plus choline, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, chromium, molybdenum and potassium.
Is the 706 percent vitamin B6 figure dangerous?
No source says so. The 12 mg of B6 is 706 percent of the Daily Value because the daily need is only 1.7 mg. The adult upper limit is 100 mg, so 12 mg is about an eighth of it (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6).
What are the other ingredients?
The label lists cellulose (the vegetable capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide. These are the capsule shell and the fillers and flow agents. The label gives no amounts for them.
Does the label list allergens?
The label as we hold it prints no allergen statement, so we cannot say the capsules are free of any allergen. Phosphatidylserine is sourced from sunflower seed. If you have an allergy, ask the distributor and your clinician.
What does the label not print?
It prints no amount for any blend name, no species for the cinnamon, no extract strength for bacopa, no manufacturer, no phone number and no mention of herpes. Gaps like these are why we show ceilings, not doses.
Group 303
What is in the 661 mg blend?
The blend is 18 names sharing 661 mg, listed from most to least by weight. The label prints no single amount, so we only give ceilings from arithmetic.
| Name | Place | At most |
|---|---|---|
| L-glutamine | 2nd | 330.5 |
| Green tea leaf extract | 4th | 165.3 |
| Bacopa monnieri extract | 5th | 132.2 |
| DHA | 16th | 41.4 |
| Phosphatidylserine | 18th | 36.8 |
What is a proprietary blend?
A proprietary blend lists several ingredients under one total weight. Federal rules require the names in descending order by weight, but not the single amounts (21 CFR 101.36, Supplement Facts Panel). Reviralis prints 661 mg for 18 names.
How do you work out the most a blend name can hold?
Divide 661 mg by the name's place in the list and round up. The third name holds at most 220.4 mg, the fifth 132.2 mg. These are ceilings, because everything above must weigh at least as much.
Is the Reviralis blend enough?
We cannot say. Enough for what? The bacopa ceiling is 132.2 mg, while a cited trial used 300 mg a day of standardized extract (Calabrese 2008, Bacopa in Older Adults (J Altern Complement Med)). A studied dose says what was tested. No study tested this blend.
Which name must be the largest?
DMAE bitartrate, listed first, is the largest by weight. It holds at least 36.7 mg, since 661 mg split among 18 names leaves the biggest with no less than that. Its upper limit is the whole 661 mg.
Can you compare vanadyl sulfate with the upper limit?
No. The label gives the weight of the compound, not of the element vanadium, and the limit is set for the element (NASEM 2019, DRI Tolerable Upper Intake Levels for Elements). Without the elemental share, the label can neither rule the limit in nor out.

What do the facts say about herpes and supplements?
Herpes has no cure, and prescription antivirals are the proven care (CDC, About Genital Herpes). Reviralis is not an antiviral, and no source we found shows it prevents or reduces outbreaks.
The words herpes and outbreak come from the sales page's positioning, not from the label. The answers below keep to what public health sources show.
Does Reviralis work for herpes?
No source we found shows it does. Reviralis is a dietary supplement, not an antiviral, and no study tested it. Herpes has no cure, and prescription antivirals are the proven care (CDC, About Genital Herpes). See a clinician if you have herpes.
Can you take Reviralis with an antiviral?
Ask your prescriber or pharmacist. Keep taking any antiviral as directed, because the capsules do not replace it. The label asks you to check first if you take any prescription medicine.
Why does the sales page talk about outbreaks?
The sales page's positioning uses the words outbreak and flare-up, but the label does not. A supplement presented for a named disease is a drug in the FDA's view, and an implied claim counts (FDA, Questions and Answers on Dietary Supplements). We report the lines and answer them.
Do any supplements help with cold sores or genital herpes?
The evidence is thin. Cochrane found no evidence that lysine prevents cold sores (Chi 2015, Cochrane: Preventing Cold Sores). The one zinc trial in herpes tested a cream, not a capsule (Godfrey 2001, Topical Zinc Oxide/Glycine for Cold Sores (Altern Ther Health Med)). Reviralis lists no lysine.
Does stress cause outbreaks?
Stress and recurrence are linked, but weakly. A meta-analysis of 11 studies found r = 0.083 and signs of publication bias (Chida and Mao 2009, Stress and HSV Recurrence (Brain Behav Immun)). It shows association, not cause, and no cited trial shows a supplement changes it.
When should herpes be seen by a clinician?
See one for a first outbreak, frequent recurrences, sores lasting over two weeks, a weak immune system or pregnancy (Mayo Clinic, Cold Sore Symptoms and Causes). Fever with a stiff neck, or a gritty, painful eye, needs care right away.

Is Reviralis safe to take?
Safety depends on you, your medicines and your health. The label asks you to check with a healthcare provider first in several cases.
No study tested these capsules, so we can only point to what each label name is known to do.
Pregnant or nursing, under 18, a seizure history, a medical condition, or a prescription such as an antidepressant, a blood thinner or a heart or nerve medicine: talk to your provider before you start.
What side effects can Reviralis cause?
No study tested the capsules, so we have no rate. Individual names have known effects: green tea extract has caused rare liver injury (NCCIH, Green Tea), and licorice can raise blood pressure (NCCIH, Licorice Root). Stop and ask a clinician if you feel unwell.
Is Reviralis safe in pregnancy?
We cannot say it is. The label tells pregnant and nursing women to consult a healthcare provider first. Sources on phosphatidylserine, DMAE, licorice and cinnamon each flag pregnancy questions (Cleveland Clinic, Phosphatidylserine) (NCCIH, Licorice Root).
Can children or teens take it?
No. The label says not for use by anyone under 18. The capsules are an adult product, and we have no source on their use in children. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.
Does Reviralis interact with medicines?
Possibly. The label names antidepressants, blood thinners and medicines for the nerves or heart. Bilberry and vitamin E relate to warfarin (MSK About Herbs, Bilberry Fruit) (NIH ODS, Vitamin E), and licorice to blood pressure drugs (MSK About Herbs, Licorice). Ask your pharmacist.
Can you take it with a multivitamin?
Add the amounts first. Two capsules give 12 mg of B6 and 10 mg of zinc, and a multivitamin adds more. Compare the total with the adult upper limits, 100 mg for B6 (NIH ODS, Vitamin B6) and 40 mg for zinc (NIH ODS, Zinc).
What if you have a seizure history?
Ask a clinician first. The label warns people with a history of seizures. DMAE, a blend name, carries manufacturer warnings for epilepsy, though the source for that is weak (EBSCO Research Starters, DMAE).

How do you buy Reviralis, and what if you want a refund?
Every order button leads to the seller's sales page (Reviralis sales page). Packs are 2 bottles for $158, 3 for $207 and 6 for $294.
The sales page lists a 60-day money-back guarantee. Confirm the live terms at checkout.
Where can you buy Reviralis?
Use the order buttons on this site, which lead to the seller's sales page. We know of no listing on Amazon, eBay, Walmart or in stores, and the order links are the only seller we can point to.
Is shipping free?
Shipping is free in the US on the 3-bottle and 6-bottle packs. The 2-bottle pack adds a small shipping fee at checkout, and the sales page does not print the amount. Confirm your total at checkout.
What is the cost per day?
At two capsules a day, the cost is $2.63 on the 2-bottle pack, $2.30 on the 3-bottle pack and $1.63 on the 6-bottle pack. Those follow from $79, $69 and $49 a bottle.
How do you get a refund?
Call the order desk with your order ID, then mail the bottles to the returns address in a tracked service. The buyer pays return shipping. The refund follows 3 to 5 business days after the bottles are credited.
Can you return an empty bottle?
The sales page says a refund is possible even if the bottle is empty. Because that is the seller's line, confirm it with the order desk before you rely on it. The window is 60 days.
What are lot R-26/IR-5592 and certificate R-5592-26-IR?
They are seller references for a lot and a certificate of analysis. They are not laboratory proof, and we have not verified them. Ask the order desk what the certificate tested.

Who runs this website?
Ireviralis, a "USA Authorized Reviralis Retailer", runs this website. It is not the manufacturer and not the distributor named on the label.
The site earns money when you order through its links (FTC, Endorsement Guides: What People Are Asking). More on the about page and the editorial standards.
Is this the manufacturer's website?
No. Ireviralis, a USA Authorized Reviralis Retailer, runs it. The label names Phyto Thrive Labs as distributor, and no manufacturer. This site is an information site that points orders to the seller.
Does the site show customer reviews?
Not yet. The reviews page has labeled slots, because no verified review is on file. We publish no rating or count we cannot trace to real buyers, in line with the FTC's rule on fake reviews (FTC, Final Rule Banning Fake Reviews (Aug 2024)).
Is there a named medical reviewer on the FAQ?
No. The reviewer slot at the foot of each page stays empty until a named clinician signs it. The answers here come from the label, the sales page and the linked public sources, and they are not medical advice.
How does the site earn money?
It earns money when you order through its links, and it says so near each one. The FTC asks for that disclosure (FTC, Endorsement Guides: What People Are Asking). The money does not change the label arithmetic or the herpes facts.
Which inbox takes a correction to an answer?
The website inbox on the contact page takes corrections. Quote the question and the line you doubt. That inbox cannot see orders, so for a refund or tracking call the order desk instead.
